Chairman Dennis Richards called the regular meeting to order at 4:57 p.m. in the conference room of the Adams Township Municipal Building.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all present.
ATTENDANCE:
Those in attendance were Supervisors Dennis Richards, Brian Schrader, Mark Bucci and Dan Senft, William Barbin, Solicitor, Jennifer Zakraysek, Secretary-Treasurer, and six (6) visitors. Mr.Gdula was absent.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR AGENDA ITEMS AND PRIOR MEETING MINUTES:
Mr. Richards stated now the Public has the right and the opportunity to comment on any item from the previous meeting minutes. None were forthcoming.
MINUTES:
Mr. Richards stated everyone had copies of the September 7,2021 regular meeting. He asked all Board members to read the minutes. Mr. Richards asked for a motion to approve the minutes presented. Mr. Senft made the motion, second by Mr. Bucci. With all in favor, motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
After discussion, Mr. Richards stated the Treasurers Report was accepted as read. The General Account Fund showed revenues received totaling $15,274.27, expenditures of $ 93,052.47(check # 31870 to #31905) and a balance of $969,075.57. The Street Light Account Fund showed revenues received of $577.50 and expenditures of $177.80(check #1577) and a balance of $23,095.26. The Fire Protection and Fire Hydrant Fund showed revenues received for the hydrants of 173.25 and protection of $319.85 and expenditures of $0.00(check #--) and a balance of $35,496.61. The State Liquid Fuels Account Fund showed revenues of $0.00 in interest, and expenditures of $0.00(check#--) leaving a balance of $341,275.57.
CORRESPONDENCE: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
Mr. Richards said Mr. Barbin had information about Geibig case that was asked about at the last meeting. Mr. Barbin said he had listed it for trial again and filed paperwork. He said court sets the date; no date set yet.
Mr. Richards asked if the Board had any other old business they would like to discuss. None was forthcoming.
NEW BUSINESS:
Payment of the Bills: Mr. Richards stated all Board Members have a copy of the bills presented for payment totaling $46,081.28 and asked them to take a few minutes to review the bills before calling for a motion to approve payment of the bills. Mr. Bucci made the motion to pay all bills. Mr. Senft seconded this motion. With all in favor, motion passed.

Mr. Richards asked for a motion to approve payapp #1 for Maryland Ave project for contractor. Mr. Senft made the motion, second by Mr. Schrader. With all in favor, motion passed.
Mr. Richards asked for a motion to approve setting Trick or Treat as Thursday October 28, 2021 from 6-8pm. Mr. Schrader made the motion, second by Mr. Senft. With all in favor, motion passed.
The Board will start process of working on the 2022 budget with the secretary-treasurer at a workshop on September 30,2021 at 12:00pm.
Mr. Richards asked if there was any other new business to discuss. None was forthcoming.
PUBLIC GENERAL COMMENT PERIOD:
Mr. Ed Richardson of Locust Street here about stormwater/drainage issues. He said he lives near garage; he said his basement has gotten flooded three times this year. He said road needs a drain. Mr. Richards said he understands where and what Mr. Richardson is saying but where can they take the water? Because if you take it to that creek the creek there overflows anyway. Mr. Richardson said he gets the runoff from garage by him and his neighbors. Mr. Richards asked if water goes down his driveway and is there curbing there? Mr. Bucci then asked if his driveway was lower than the road? Mr. Richardson said yes to there is curbing and yes driveway is lower than road. Mr. Richards said that Mr. Senft who is Roadmaster would come and look to what/if anything can be done. Mr. Richardson asked Mr. Senft to call and make sure he is there before he comes.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Richards stated with no other township business to conduct he would entertain a motion to adjourn. Mr. Bucci made the motion, second by Mr. Schrader. With all in favor, motion passed, and the meeting adjourned at 5:06 P.M.
