Chairman Dennis Richards called the regular meeting to order at 5:00p.m. in the conference room of the Adams Township Municipal Building.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all present.
ATTENDANCE:
Those in attendance were Supervisors Dennis Richards, Dennis Gdula, Brian Schrader, Dan Senft and Mark Bucci; William Barbin, Solicitor; Jennifer Zakraysek, Secretary,3(three) police officers and 7(seven) visitors.
Mr. Richards turned meeting over to Presentation by Chief Paul Kundrod representing St. Michael Fire Department as well as the Cambria County Fire Association with presentation of valor awards to Officer Shope regarding the house fire on May 9,2020.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR AGENDA ITEMS AND PRIOR MEETING MINUTES:
Mr. Richards stated now the Public has the right and the opportunity to comment on any item from the previous meeting minutes. None were forthcoming.
MINUTES:
Mr. Richards stated everyone had a copy of the September 8 ,2020 regular meeting. He asked all Board members to read the minutes. Mr. Richards asked for a motion to approve the minutes presented. Mr. Gdula made the motion, second by Mr. Senft. With all in favor, motion passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
After discussion, Mr. Richards stated the Treasurers Report was accepted as read. The General Account Fund showed revenues received totaling $ 27,243.63, expenditures of $ 97,392.50(check # 31150 to #31189) and a balance of $651,367.85. The Street Light Account Fund showed revenues received of $288.75 and expenditures of $196.62(check #1532 to #1533) and a balance of $19,444.98. The Fire Protection and Fire Hydrant Fund showed revenues received for the hydrants of 78.75 and protection of $524.20 and expenditures of $1,276.97(check #1262 to #1264) and a balance of $29,896.00. The State Liquid Fuels Account Fund showed revenues of $0.00 in interest, and expenditures of $22,040.38(check #795) leaving a balance of $317,176.10.

OLD BUSINESS:
Mr. Richards asked if the Board had any other old business they would like to discuss. None was forthcoming.
NEW BUSINESS:
Payment of the Bills: Mr. Richards stated all Board Members have a copy of the bills presented for payment totaling $26,795.90 and asked them to take a few minutes to review the bills before calling for a motion to approve payment of the bills. Mr. Gdula made the motion to pay all bills. Mr. Bucci seconded this motion. With all in favor, motion passed. Discussion and motion on Trick or Treat. Discussion occurred on having trick or treat and then what night to have it …Mr. Bucci commented that Richland Township is having theirs on Oct 29, 2020.Board agreed we should schedule it for that night also. Mr. Richards asked for motion to have Trick or Treat as October 29,2020 from 6-8pm. Mr. Senft made the motion, second by Mr. Schrader. With all in favor, motion passed.
Mr. Richards announced that the Board of Supervisors will start the process of working on the budget with the secretary-treasurer for general fund, state account and tax resolution at a workshop on October 7,2020 at 12:00pm.
PUBLIC GENERAL COMMENT PERIOD:
Ms. Linda Scullion about the two neighboring properties near her that have tires. Discussion occurred about follow up from prior meetings. Mr. Barbin said he can file an injunction concerning the Geibig property since that one has already been to court, etc. and asked for board approval to file. Mr. Richards made the motion, second by Mr. Gdula for Mr. Barbin to file an injunction concerning Geibig property. With all in favor, motion passed. Other property with tires (Lantz) Mr. Gdula said codes was to follow up and investigate that. Mr. Gdula said he had been previously been to court for other violations and he has looked and taken pictures of that property. He said he will call and follow up with Building Codes about tires and other issues on that property.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Richards stated with no other township business to conduct he would entertain a motion to adjourn. Mr. Bucci made the motion, second by Mr. Senft. With all in favor, motion passed, and the meeting adjourned at 5:13 P.M.
