The Adams Township Roads, Highways, & Public Works Department
This department provides many services for the residents of the Township. Snow plowing and anti-skid treatment of winter roads, maintenance to the streets of the Township on a daily basis, mowing roadways, new construction projects and street sweeping are only a few of the many tasks undertaken by the highway department. The Township has a complete fleet of vehicles for the upkeep of the township roads. These are the 3 International Trucks, 2 one-ton trucks, two rollers, a grader, a backhoe, a front-end loader, street sweeper, tractor mower, paver, and chipper.
Recycle Bin Locations
Recycle bin drop offs are located on the left side of the Adams Township Municipal Building. These locations are open 24/7 for your convenience. Items recycled are: Aluminum cans, tin cans, food cans, clear and brown glass, plastic, newspaper and magazines.
Compost Site Locations
All township yard waste and and leaves can be taken to the township compost site, located behind the Municipal building and maintenance garage. From here the materials are composted, turned into mulch and offered to the public at no charge.
Dead Animal Removal
