    1. Meeting to be called to order at 7:30 pm.  The following Planning Commission Board Members are to be determined to attend:

The reorganization meeting was conducted prior to the regular Planning Commission Meeting. Ed Pentrack made the motion to retain current officers, RJ Young as Chairman and Rich Webb as Vice Chair. The motion was 2nd by Percy Helsel with all in favor of same. (See new business below)

  1. Adams Township Supervisors Meeting minutes; dates for Planning Commissions meeting in 2026, email from Shanna Murphy, Cambria County Planning Commission asking the Supervisors/Planning Commission Board to comment on our Solar Ordinance process. After some discussion Randy Cortese was picked to make the response on behalf of the Township. Zoning officer report.

 

  1. Visitors and Public Input

 

  1. Jesse Horner of 1317, Forest Hills Drive here to discuss opening an auto repair shop next to his property at 1323/1325 Forest Hills Drive, formerly the Wingard Truck Cap business. He currently operates a business in Summerhill, PA. It was discussed that business has not been conducted on the premises for 2 years and this would be a change in business type. The area is zoned AR-1. RJ Young recommended that he prepare a site plan and go before the Adams Township Zoning Hearing Board. RJ Young made a motion to give a 12 month extension ( see section 2002, 200202 on page 128 of the zoning ordinance) it was accepted 1st by Percy Helsel and 2nd by Ed Pentract.
  2. John Woomer, 132 Martin Street, Portage Pa here to discuss the Adams Street Apartments in the Beautyline Development. It is his intensions to subdivide and merge some of the existing parcel (Tax Map 01-048-110.001) with adjoining land owners and to divide the apartments into 7 separate parcels to be sold individually. The plan he had was presented as a preliminary plan. A more detailed plan would need to be submitted and presented to the Planning Commission. The parcel is listed in the R-2 district. He stated that he would come back with a more detailed plan and formal submission to the Board.
